Releasing pain, shame, and burdens through healing with horses

Today, as our world shifts with uncertainty, many of us carry hidden pain, shame, and burdens. No one heals alone. We all long to be seen, understood, and supported so we can step into the life we were created to live.

At Redeemer Ranch in Reno, Nevada, we are building a sacred space for renewal — where women of faith can gather, connect, and experience the healing presence of horses.

Our Embracing Life Gatherings are designed to inspire, encourage, and create lasting friendships as we heal, learn, and grow together.

During this unique gathering, you will experience:

• Intentional community – meaningful conversations and faith-based connection with other women.
• Healing with horses – discover how horses mirror our inner release and respond to our willingness to surrender.
• Practical teaching – explore how to let go of emotional “baggage” and reclaim joy.
• Rituals of release – guided exercises and symbolic practices to set burdens down.
• Healthy refreshments – light appetizers to enjoy together.

A few participants will be selected to directly experience equine healing alongside Catherine and the Redeemer Ranch therapy horses.

Nestled in Reno, Redeemer Ranch is a place of faith, healing, and renewal. Here, community gatherings, one-on-one sessions, and retreats are hosted with the goal of creating safe, grace-filled spaces where women can rest, connect, and grow.

Catherine (Cathy) Kaufer is a Transition Expert, Minister, and the host of Embracing Life Again, a transformative TV show on Roku and YouTube that empowers women to navigate life’s hardest transitions.

After losing her husband in 2015, Catherine dedicated her life to helping others heal through faith, community, and her registered therapy animals. She is certified in Faith-Based Equine Assisted Philosophy™ (FBEAP) and blends equine wisdom, ministry, and practical tools to guide women beyond grief and shame into freedom and hope.

• 12:00–12:20 PM – Check in & light appetizers
• 12:20–12:40 PM – Welcome, introductions & intention setting
• 12:40–1:00 PM – Teaching: “Letting Go to Begin Again” (Emotional Baggage)
• 1:00–1:30 PM – Equine Groundwork: Tension & Release Exercise
  (Two women will be selected for direct horse interaction)
• 1:30–2:00 PM – Release ritual, reflection, & closing circle
