About this Event
Embracing Elderhood As Sacred
Join us in-person for a celebration of this beautiful phase of life!
Growing up of African descent, respecting Elders was the golden rule.
Now that its our turn, some in our society see elderhood as a time of life when usefulness is over and we are waiting to die.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
If you are 55 or greater, join us to embrace the sacredness of the Elder phase of life and the critical importance of Elders in conveying the legacy of values, culture, wisdom and hope to youth and community.
