About this Event
Join us in Brandon, MB for 2 days of thought-provoking workshops. Connect with fellow leaders on day one, to discuss the practical, flexible and optional pathways of the Roadmap Project that will support self-sufficiency and economic growth. On day 2, we will uncover how effective Change Management can be implemented to alleviate stress and empower your team!
The FMB offers First Nations representatives up to $1500 in travel and accommodation reimbursements. Representatives must attend both workshops to qualify. Space is limited, so register today!
Change Management
This year our focus will be on Change Management. Change management is the methods and manners in which an organization describes and implements change. As we move through implementing the FAL, changes in policies, procedures, budgeting and asset tracking (to name a few) can be very common.
How does your Nation manage change? What methods does or nation use to inform and educate staff, membership, etc. when a change impacts them? At the session we will be exploring these issues and challenges and work together to manage these sometimes-uncomfortable events. Talk about strategies, factors, best practices, and achieving results.
RoadMap
RoadMap is a First Nations-led initiative with optional pathways to support Nations in achieving their economic and self-government goals. Your voice is an essential and valued part of shaping the RoadMap proposals.
