Welcome to Embrace Nature, Ignite Intentions: A Women’s Gathering for New Beginnings! Join us for a rejuvenating experience at Votier’s Flats - Fish Creek Provincial Park. Connect with nature, set your intentions, and embrace new beginnings with like-minded women. This in-person event will provide a safe space for you to reflect, recharge, and identify your intentions for the New Year. Let's come together to celebrate the power of sisterhood and the beauty of the natural world. We can't wait to see you there!

We will begin by gathering around a fire and grabbing a hot drink, then take a short, reflective walk on level ground, appreciating our surroundings and connecting with what has brought us together. When we return to our fire, we'll take a moment to reflect and release what no longer serves us. Next, we'll create a nature-based art project as we reflect on gratitude and future intentions. We'll conclude with a closing circle to share our thoughts and insights and then relax with light snacks, tea, and camaraderie around the fire. This is more than just a women's event; it’s a heartfelt experience designed to nurture your spirit and foster intentions to take with you into the new year.
A note about the weather and what to wear!
Dress for the weather. Layered outdoor clothing suitable for winter (recommend include a wool or fleece layer), waterproof outer layer, gloves, hats, scarves, and waterproof boots are necessary.
What to Bring
We'll be having warm drinks, so please bring a travel mug if you have one. We will have some disposable cups and lids available, but we'd like to try to keep waste to a minimum. A reusable, filled water bottle is optional. Please bring a notepad or journal and pen to take notes and capture your ideas. Optional: A blanket, seat pad, or a small cushion for sitting.
