About this Event
EMBRACE (Empathy, Mindfulness, Belonging, Respect, Advocacy, Conversation, Equity) is a series of conversations designed to help James Madison College students, faculty, and staff come to a community agreement about how concepts of DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging,) are instituted in the spaces we share.
Every month the JMC Office of Justice, Equity, and Inclusion will present a new topic in these areas. All students, staff, and faculty are welcome (fell free to bring a friend from the greater MSU community as well!)
Each dialogue will take place during our Wednesday Night Programming Series, in Club Spartan, from 6p- 7:30p.
Our third dialogue centers upon the intersections of activism, identity, and belonging in the confines of 'solidarity' among groups. Come join the OJEI office for a discussion on the implications of solidarity in our daily lives and activism. JMC RSOs, staff, students, and faulty are invited to engage in this timely conversation. We look forward to seeing you there!
