About this Event
Embodying the resilient qualities of Spring. An empowering Vinyasa yoga, breath work, & ice bath event!
Join Jaki, Kate, & Lisa on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025!
Embody the resilience of Spring as we celebrate the Spring Equinox at Forged Soul! Kate, Lisa, and Jaki will guide you through a “Dragon Yoga Flow” heat building yoga practice and deep stretch, using the power of breathwork throughout the practice as we prepare for our guided ice bath session to follow. A few of the many possible benefits of ice bathing /cold water immersion are that it may boost physical and mental health in the following ways:
-Lessens inflammation in the body
-Improves mental clarity
-Reduces anxiety
-Builds capacity to regulate stress
-Improves endurance workout recovery .
The Ice baths can be as long as 1-5 minutes or beyond depending on your comfortability.
Things to bring/wear:
Wear your fitness/yoga clothing to the event but bring your ice bath bathing suits /clothes.
Bring a towel and/or robe.
Have clothes to change into after the ice bath
Optional winter hat for ice bath!
IMPORTANT:
1. Make sure to bathe in the morning prior to the event and;
2. Please check with your health care /wellness providers prior to engaging in ice baths/cold water immersion. This is important as ice baths are not recommended for everyone and it is important that your wellness team approves of the ice bath!
