Designed for bodies of all sizes and experience levels, this one-day intensive blends discussion, movement, and performance in a space that celebrates the unapologetic power of people of size.
In the first session, we’ll explore the history of fat liberation and burlesque—centering performers of color—through discussion, journaling, and light embodiment exercises. After a restorative break, we’ll move into a dance-based burlesque class, where you’ll learn playful fundamentals, tease techniques, and a short, adaptable choreography designed for all bodies and abilities.
