About this Event
Join us for an enlightening workshop exploring the intersection of queerness and spirituality. Our "Embody Worthiness: Queerly Devout - Returning to Our Spiritual Birthright" event aims to heal complicated relationships with religion and reconnect with faith traditions.
Led by our community partner Pablo Seto, participants will engage in guided meditation, thoughtful discussions, and shared experiences. We'll delve into healing religious trauma, finding inclusive faith communities, and rediscovering our spiritual birthright.
Workshop focus:
- Reclaim the word "religious" and rediscover our capacity to awaken, heal, and transform
- Understand the difference between the teacher and the teaching
- Heal wounds arising from harmful faith practices
- Reshape our connection to faith traditions by rediscovering core wisdom
Whether through meditation, sharing, or listening, participate in ways that feel comfortable for you.
