THE EMBODIED RESOURCE KETE is a mindfully-held container that sensitively & clearly guides participants towards experiences of real, embodied safety within their own bodies as well as within the group-body. Sessions follow a cycle of arrival & open attention, exploration & development, settle & harvest – a rhythm that mirrors cycles within nature, and supports the experience of being in body-time, a slower sense of time that acknowledges real-time somatic shifts. Techniques and practices draw from:
- Somatic Movement
- Open Floor dance
- Creative arts expression such as creative writing & drawing
- Polyvagal Theory
- Nonviolent Communication
- Embodied Mindfulness
- Somatic Therapy
Participants will be encouraged to make their own choices around how to engage with the work, depending on their own level of comfort within the group. These sessions are an invitation -through curiosity & awareness- to find the pathways that guide us back to the innate homes of our bodies, once again.

She is an Eagala Equine Therapist, is International Peer Support Certified, and has worked for Mirror Counselling Service. Miriam Marler is a Movement Facilitator & Somatic Therapy practitioner with over 20 years experience facilitating community groups.
