About Sophie:
As a dedicated yoga student for over a decade, my practice has been a consistent support through this wild ride of life; its births, deaths and rebirths. My practice has brought me into closer connection with my body-mind and the outside world. It is a reminder, and portal back to presence.
I have studied many types of yoga with teachers around the world. My personal and professional interest in the intersect between movement, neuroscience, spirituality and psychology brought me to somatics. My initial teacher training, I studied Embodied Hatha with Samavesa, qualifying in 2021. I have a particular interest in women's health and have since qualified in pre and postnatal yoga following the birth of my second child. I also co-facilitate a women's circle.
Everything I offer is trauma informed. My classes and workshops are designed to be accessible, support connection to self and explore tools that can be used off a yoga mat to find more ease in daily life.
