If you are interested but cannot make this in-person event, we hope you'll sign up for the online options. There's a monthly free introduction and a 3-session online class being offered on Saturdays, March 9, 16 and 23.

Embodied Empathy (E2)

is a set of playful and physical practices derived from Playback Theatre and other improv forms. Practicing E2 can hone your listening skills, deepen your relationships, and bring moments of joyful creativity into your life. Read about Embodied Empathy

During these two hours of fun and interaction, you will be invited to:
* Try on a variety of Embodied Empathy practices
* Reflect on ways embodiment amplifies connection and understanding
* Explore how you might bring these practices into your life or professional work

You might find Embodied Empathy especially useful:

If you are a communications teacher, group facilitator, coach, expressive therapist, improviser, Interplay or Playback Theatre practitioner--or if you simply want some new and creative ways to get along better with your fellow humans. If you are familiar with InterPlay you will notice a similarity to “on behalf of” practices, but E2 is different in ways we hope you will find interesting and useful.

We are Playback Theatre performers, writers, organizers, workshop leaders, life partners, parents, and long-time InterPlay fans. We perform with the Boston-based Playback company True Story Theater, and coordinate Playback North America (PNA), a network 50+ Playback companies and many kindred spirits. The proceeds of this workshop help to support PNA’s expenses.
