Embodied Comedy is an experiential workshop that blends nervous system theory, embodiment practices, and improvisational theater to support personal transformation through play and enactment.

This workshop is designed for participants who have completed Level Two and are ready to get out of their heads, deepen their embodied awareness, expand their emotional range, and explore how comedy and theater can become tools for regulation, insight, and change.

Through guided somatic practices, structured improv games, and both solo and partnered work, participants will:

  • Learn the basics of nervous system theory and how to harness this knowledge on stage and offstage
  • Practice embodiment techniques that increase flexibility, resilience, and presence
  • Explore personal and relational patterns through theatrical enactment in a supportive container
  • Use humor and play to gently disrupt habitual responses and open new possibilities.
  • Strengthen trust in their own instincts, impulses, and creative expression

This workshop is not strictly focused on fine-tuning onstage performance; it also emphasizes offstage felt experience, experimentation, and integration using comedy as a pathway to deeper self-awareness and embodied choice.

Participants can expect a fun, supportive environment that encourages curiosity, consent, and authenticity, with space for both laughter and meaningful reflection.
