On Memorial Day weekend, Blatha an Oir again combines three events to bring people together from across the Kingdom in their passions and interests. We are hosting Embers and Ambrosia, Celtic Bardic, and Daffodil Archery at the Swiss Sportsmen’s Club the weekend of May 23-26, 2025.
Activities will include
Torchlight Tourney Friday night (subject to marshal availability)
Rapier and Cut and Thrust tourneys Saturday
Archery, including the Daffodil Tourney!
Thrown Weapons!
Classes – food, bardic, martial, scribal, and more 🙂
Demo area to chat with folks making things, cooking food, and maybe even try your hand at making something
There are 3 baronial championships open to participation – Bardic, Arts & Sciences on Saturday and the Shield of the Barony on Sunday.
Merchants 🙂
After Saturday evening court, there will be a potluck in the hall. Two hearty soups/stews will be there for a start – both GF, one with meat, and one vegetarian. Please label foods for discrete allergy maintenance and remember a serving utensil. 🙂
(Since we do have the hall, there will be space to set up a crock pot, or hold foods cold until after Court)
Unless you are going to assist with setting up pavilions or a merchant needing to set up, gate opens at 3 pm on Friday. If you are assisting with set up, you are allowed on site at noon, but you will need to be setting up the baronial areas before setting up your personal encampment.
With 2 small play areas for smaller children and a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, this is a great option to possibly bring friends to see what this is all about.
Hope to see you there!

Tournament Information
Baronial Championships!!
Saturday: (to happen after morning Court)
Bardic Championship: 2 separate pieces to perform, one in the morning, one mid-afternoon.

A&S Championship: We are asking a class to be taught for your competition. We want to know about your project intimately, how it’s made, history of it, and why you chose it. If your not comfortable with a large amount of people and speaking, we can, of course, accommodate you down to The Baron and The Baroness and the current Champion. This Barony needs someone who is willing to teach a few times within their Championship, even if it’s just at our events. We Champions represent the pride and people of this Barony. Show us what it is that makes you dive headfirst down your A&S rabbit hole. We are excited to hear and see your efforts!
Sunday:
Shield of the Barony Defender: For those heavy fighters who have never won a tournament, be prepared to fight in a Round Robin, to begin at 10 am or at Their Excellencies discretion.

Merchant Information
Embers and Ambrosia is still accepting merchant applications at this time. No additional site fees, only a request to donate something to baronial largesse. Only 1-2 spaces left!
Classes Offered
We’d love to have your classes or guild show off here! Sign up for having demo space or even meeting for discussion of shared interests (embroidery, mead-making, making largesse, and anything else) or teaching a class will close on April 12th so that a schedule may be set up before April 20th and made public.
