Our quality improvement process is what drives the change and development of your service, thus leading to best outcomes for children, families and educators. The QIP/Self Assessment is an important part of this process as it is the first impression an Authorised Officer will have of your service, and documents your improvement journey. There is a lot that goes in to writing a QIP/Self Assessment which is a meaningful and detailed representation of your practice, and even more that goes in to making it a true driver of quality in your service.
In this session, in addition to looking at techniques that can be applied to writing a strong quality improvement plan, we will also explore how as a team, you can embed quality improvement (and reflective practice) in to the culture of your service to ensure the best chance of effectively improving service practice and demonstrating your quality at A&R. We will focus on the following areas:
Self assessment - a place to start
Developing a meaningful Quality Improvement Plan/Self Assessment
Involving all stakeholders in the process
What’s reflective practice got to do with it?
Quality Improvement and mentorship
Promoting professional environments
Includes resource kit and lunch. Presented by: Owner/Director Kate.
