The Port of San Francisco, in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is developing the San Francisco Waterfront Flood Study, which includes a Draft Plan to defend a portion of our city's waterfront against sea level rise, stormwater flooding and earthquakes.
As this critical work unfolds, the SFMTA will work with the community to develop the , a long-range transportation plan to keep people moving when this work gets underway. In addition, we want to use this opportunity to create an improved and resilient public transportation system on the waterfront that serves San Francisco residents, businesses and visitors alike.
Your Voice Matters – Join Us at an Open House!
The SFMTA is dedicated to working with the community to ensure the waterfront transportation network and the Embarcadero are safe, inclusive and accessible to everyone. We’re hosting two open houses to share more information and to collect your input to guide the early stages of the plan.
