The Emami Art Experimental Film Festival 2025 (EAEFF 25) returns for its fourth edition from 11–14 September 2025 in Kolkata. Dedicated to experimental and alternative practices in cinema video and moving images the festival brings together artists filmmakers and audiences from across India and the world.This year EAEFF received over 1200 submissions worldwide reflecting its growing significance as a global platform for radical boundary-breaking moving image practices. The festival features:
Curated Programmes with Sharjah Art Foundation KADIST WNDX Canada and others
Workshops & Masterclasses by international filmmakers including Richard Tuohy Dianna Barrie and Jeannette Muñoz
Special Screenings and conversations exploring cinema history and memory
Official Selection – India showcasing 15 groundbreaking new films
Presented by Emami Foundation Kolkata Centre for Creativity (KCC) and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) EAEFF 25 is a hub for experimentation dialogue and artistic collaboration.
