To qualify for the EMA test application, these are the from EMA;

• Holds a National Institute of Technical Education Certificate that is relevant to the electrical work that an electrician is authorised to perform. Alternatively, an acceptable qualification to the Authority may be considered.
• Has two years’ practical experience in Singapore.

• Has ten years’ practical experience in Singapore.

• Has five years’ practical experience in Singapore.
• Has completed the conducted by the Singapore Institute of Power and Gas.
