Kenny Metcalf as Elton is truly top notch. He and his band are the utmost
professionals and their ability to get a crowd energized and excited is amazing. I’ve
had the pleasure of booking Kenny on many occasions. His LIVE National TV
performance on AXS TV’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands was so good that he
was invited back for a second show!
When he performed at The Hollywood School House for their charity gala, he had
the crowd on their feet including celebrity guests like Caroline Rhea and David
Chokachi.
And not to bury the lead, but when Kenny Metcalf did a private birthday
performance for Academy Award Nominee, Amy Adams, she literally gasped, “Oh
my god, Elton is here!” And then she was told, “Nope, it’s Kenny Metcalf!”

I brought Elton to the U.S. with Russ Regan and Pat Pipolo to perform at theTroubadour in 1970, when we all worked at UNI Records. I saw Elton then for thevery first time, and 49 years later (in 2019) I just saw him again tonight... by KennyMetcalf as Elton.
