Meditation Series: A Life of Great Meaning
A Life of Great Meaning
The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful we will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness; but if our mind is not peaceful, we will find it very difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the very best conditions. If we train in meditation, our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful, and we will experience a purer and purer form of happiness. Eventually we will be able to stay happy all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances. Through applying our meditation training to our daily life we can overcome the delusions that disturb our inner peace and create more harmony to our life.
Take the opportunity to join us for our weekly meditation classes to deepen our meditation experience.
Through training in meditation and through contemplating meaningful teachings taught by Buddha we can make a deep and meaningful transformation of our life.
Each class consists of guided meditations and teachings that we can contemplate and practice throughout the week. Through engaging in meditation practice we can develop and maintain a peaceful mind all the time. If we have a peaceful mind all the time we will be happy all the time, regardless of whether our conditions are good or bad. Now is the time to train in inner peace and happiness by putting Buddha’s teachings into practice.
Each class is a stand-alone class that is part of a series of classes. You do not need to attend the full series to benefit from these classes.
