Hi, my name is Brittany and I am the owner of Ellie Rae Play. I started sewing at the young age of 10 and haven't put my fabric scissors down since! I started my business (previously Brittany Rae Designs) creating elaborate gowns for party princesses, shipping them world wide! During covid my business switched gears and I found myself teaching more sewing classes and falling in love with doll making.
The Ellie Rae Play Dolly was inspired by my daughter Ellie's love for stuffies over plastic dolls, this pattern gives you the best of both worlds. As a child my favorite part of playing with dolls was changing up her outfit, which is why our dolly's clothing is easy for little fingers to take on and off.
After sharing my dolly pattern with many of my sewing students and seeing them so proud of creating their very own dolly... I was ready for the next step in my business!
My goal is to share my love of sewing, teaching and dollmaking all over the world!!!
In this 2.5 hours workshop you will be creating your own Ellie Ray Doll by stuffing, then hand-stitching the opening closed, stitching on her hair and dressing her up!
In this workshop you will learn the ladder stitch & backstitch and even get to play hairdresser!
By the end of the workshop you will have a new friend to cherish forever!
