Ellie Gowers is a UK singer-songwriter blending contemporary acoustic sounds with the storytelling traditions of folk. Her 2022 debut album Dwelling by the Weir earned critical acclaim for its lyrical depth and ecological themes, praised by The Guardian and TradFolk. In 2024, her new EP - You The Passenger, received national airplay on BBC Radio 2, 6 Music, and the RADMAC show. With influences ranging from MIPSO to Jeff Buckley, her sound explores themes of distance, longing, and identity. An extended version of the EP arrives in autumn 2025, followed by a UK headline tour in November.
