ABOUT ELLEN ANGELICO
Ellen Angelico is an in-demand session musician in Nashville. The Nashville Scene calls Ellen an "ace of all things stringed" and "one of the greatest utility players in Nashville." When she is not backing up a variety of talented acts such as Cam, Mickey Guyton, Brandy Clark, and many others, she pens a quarterly column for Premier Guitar and releases original music once in a blue moon.
Ellen has recently released a podcast called Girl in a Hurry: the Shelly Bush Story, chronicling the life and career of Shelly Bush. Shelly was a trailblazing yet unsung force in country music. As the leader of the all-female band Broadband, she played thousands of shows and left a lasting impact on Nashville even if her name never topped the charts. She passed away in 2015 but she lives on through the countless careers she helped launch. Girl in a Hurry: the Shelly Bush Story celebrates her remarkable journey and redefines what it means to "make it" in music.
