About Ella Forrest & the Great Pines:
Ella Forrest & the Great Pines are one of Regina's most dynamic R&B bands, known for velvety vocals, and groovy rhythms that get audiences on their feet. Their debut project Butterflies, released in November 2023, received rave reviews and a Sask Music Award nomination. Now, after over a year of hard work, the band is gearing up to drop their highly anticipated sophomore EP and is thrilled to share their new single, Lights Out, on March 14th. This new release takes their sound to the next level—more mature, refined, and guaranteed to leave you excited for the rest of the project.
About MONK:
MONK is a multi-media pop princess from Regina, SK. Her unique style of dance and hip hop blends hard hitting drums and washed out synths paired with intimate writings on loss, love, and queer subsistence. These distinct qualities alongside MONK’s experience DJ’ing parties around the city, has come to make up her dynamic musical identity. MONK’s last project ‘monkWire’ is an electric 11 track mixtape hosted by her nightlife alter ego DJ BABY. ‘monkWire’ is a story of love, betrayal, and above all else, survival. Taking place in a club known as ‘FABRIC’, this tale stars a rave princess known as ‘GIRLFRIEND’ who seeks eternal love on the dance floor to escape her world of existential suffering and shapeshifting demons.
