Ella & The Bossa Beat is an international father-daughter ensemble between the 'new rising star of the Jazz generation' — singer/pianist Ella Borges — and Grammy-nominated drummer Magrus Borges, who played with Astrud Gilberto, Bebel Gilberto, Grace Jones and many other legends.
In 2020, Ella & The Bossa Beat released their first album, My Remedy and in 2022, their second album, In the Moment hit #8 on the national top 30 Latin charts and #15 on the national top 50 jazz album charts. The pair has received recognition from esteemed jazz publications like JAZZIZ and local magazines such as Orlando Weekly. They released their most recent album, Paradise, in 2024.
