Elkstones Easter Weekend

The farm has been in the same family for over 200 years and dates back to the 1600s the farm has never been detected apart from when we did the recce the other day.
With an area steeped in history dating all the way back to the Stone age, and with a Bronze Age and Saxon burial mounds on top of the hill close to the Farm, and a Norman church in the nearest village, and a Mott and Bailey Castle not too far away we have the potential to save lots of history.
You will have seen the pictures of our finds from the recce, and this shows that there are targets in the ground and no green waste, and that was only from two Fields.
Detecting Times
Please arrive no earlier than 12:00hrs on Friday. We will ask you to complete registration and make any final payments prior to entering the camping and detecting fields.
