Explore the life and legacy of Johann Sebastian Bach on our magisterial Petty-Madden organ!
Liz will start with Bach's own works—including his virtuoso transcription of Vivaldi's Concerto for Two Violins in A minor, RV 522—and then proceed to works by Johann Ludwig Krebs (Bach's pupil), Felix Mendelssohn (Bach's "re-discoverer"), and Billy Nalle (a contemporary composer writing in Bach's style).
Enjoy some old favorites and maybe some new ones, concluding with the ever-popular Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, BWV 565...which may not have written been by Bach at all!
