Elizabeth Cunningham is a novelist and poet who is perhaps best known for The Maeve Chronicles, a series of award-winning novels featuring a feisty Celtic Magdalen. The descendant of generations of Episcopal priests, Cunningham grew up in a small town church next door to an overgrown, enchanted wood. Equally influenced by scripture and fairytale, she has spent her life writing stories that traverse the worlds. Cunningham's non fiction debut My Life as a Prayer (2023) is candid and passionate and invites readers of all faiths—and doubts!—to explore life in this beautiful, imperiled world we share. Her novel The Wild Mother was rereleased in 2023 as well as a new edition of another early novel, The Return of the Goddess, A Divine Comedy.
