The Ancient Spanish Monastery, the oldest standing structure in the Western Hemisphere, originally known as the Monastery of Our Lady, Queen of the Angels, has a storied history dating back to the 12th century in Segovia, Spain. Commissioned by King Alfonso VIII, the monastery was built in the Romanesque architectural style with elements of Gothic design, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship and intricate details. Over the centuries, the monastery served as a place of worship, contemplation, and scholarly pursuits for monks of the Cistercian order. In the early 20th century, newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst purchased the monastery and had it dismantled stone by stone, with the intention of shipping it to the United States. However, due to financial difficulties, the stones remained in storage for several years until they were eventually purchased by two entrepreneurs, who brought them to Miami and meticulously reconstructed the monastery in its current location. Today, The Ancient Spanish Monastery stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of medieval architecture, serving as a place of historical significance and cultural beauty in Miami.

Jennifer Denali (Janaki Dasi) is the visionary behind the Samadi Soul Ceremony at the Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami. She produces and leads transformative sound baths and ceremonies inspired by ancient practices and traditions. Collaborating with spiritual leaders (Srimati Syamarani Dasi, Lama Tashi Norbu and the Spanish Monastery Foundation) Jennifer fosters healing, celebration, education, and community connection while growing her philanthropic efforts. Evolving as a singer/songwriter, recording artist and certified sound healer, Jennifer now blends her talents with spiritual awareness, infusing her work with deep healing intentions. Her voice is a conduit for healing, deeply impactful for those who experience her sound baths, attuning her audience to the vibration of divine love. Alex "Bushman"

Alexander "Bush Ninja" Howe is a passionate herbalist, adventurer, and teacher. He has spent most of the past thirteen years exploring Southern Africa, teaching practical herbalism techniques, earning the nickname "Bush Ninja", founding Bush Ninja Botanicals and more recently Mamma Kanna, focused primarily on Kanna the newest ancestral plant in the herbal/sober party scene.

Enthusiastic about traditional African herbalism, Bush Ninja encountered Kanna (sceletium tortuosum) early in his travels.
