League trivia begins September 9 and runs through March. Team points accumulate all season and teams have chance to attend playoff and championship games against other winning teams from other bars!Elite Trivia is an interactive trivia game where contestants are fully involved for each question. Each team uses a keypad or mobile app to enter their answers. There are a total of four rounds and twenty-four questions played.
The first three rounds are all multiple choice with the last question being an “Elite Roulette” question. During this question contestants will have an opportunity to bet a certain percentage of their points. If they answer correctly that percentage of points will get added to their score and if they answer incorrectly that percentage of points is taken away.
The fourth round is all multiple choice except for the last question. The last question is called the “Elite Wager”. This question is a fill in the blank question (teams are provided answer sheet and pencil) with no multiple-choice options. If a team answers and gets it wrong, they lose all their total game points. If they answer correct, their game points double.
