This 2-day course is designed for shooters that are “highly skilled”. Meaning, these shooters are very skilled with their carry gun, are an IDPA Master, or a USPSA Master or Grand Master that struggle being competitive amongst other Masters or Grand Masters. If you fit into this category and have the desire to be a threat to your competition, this is the course for you. Over 2 days, you will learn how to perform like the most elite shooters.
This course can be catered to IDPA, USPSA, or EDC.
Course Objectives:
1. Safety rules
2. Mental performance
3. Physical performance
4. Focused and purposeful dryfire
5. Fundamentals of pistol shooting
6. Stage analysis and breakdown
7. Individual shooter analysis
8. Movement, how to be fast
9. How to practice and continue skill improvement
10. How to identify inefficiencies
11. How to prepare for a big match
12. How to put all the skills together
13. Getting the most out of your training
14. Establishing and planning your practice schedule.
Required Equipment:
1. A holster suitable for duty, competition, concealed carry, or everyday use
2. A handgun that functions reliably
3. At least 3 magazines, if you are shooting a magazine that is 10 rounds or less consider bringing more
4. At least 1 magazine pouch
5. Eye protection
6. Hearing protection
7. Something to take notes with (no video recording please)
8. 600 rounds of ammunition. If you wish to have more repetitions on each exercise, feel free to bring more ammunition.
9. Snacks/food to help keep your energy up and maintain focus
