Vocalist Elijah Jeffery and pianist Eddie Gripper straddle the genres of progressive pop, indie folk, and alternative jazz.
They’ll be joining us as a quartet to celebrate the launch of their new recording together, described as “eagerly awaited” (The Jazz Mann).
Though both trained in jazz, their influences are wide-ranging. From folk-inspired and introspective ballads to art-pop and modern takes on Baroque arias, their music reflects a natural fusion of styles. Their music embodies a growing desire for trans-genre collaboration, progressive songwriting, and storytelling in today’s streaming age.
Written and recorded within eight weeks, their self-titled album marks the culmination of both musicians’ close working relationship and shared passion for songwriting.

Steamin’ is Cheltenham’s newest jazz club, hosted by a collaboration of experienced musicians from across a range of jazz. It aims to offer monthly gigs, taking place at The Steam and Whistle, near Cheltenham Spa railway station.
