After three years teaching English on the Navajo Nation, the Silver Spring, Maryland native embarked on a worldwide touring career that has taken him to venues and festivals across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, and nearly every U.S. state.His songwriting has earned top honors, including a Washington Area Music Award for Way Out West (Best Country/Americana Album), the grand prize in the SAW Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Competition, a WAMMIE for Best Pop Artist, and a quarterly winner of the NERFA song competition.
