Embrace the holiday spirit at a 70-minute community sing-along of selections from Handel’s renowned Messiah! This event makes you a participant in the audience choir, accompanied by the extraordinary talent of Elgin area musicians and vocalists, including the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, Elgin Master Chorale, members of the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestras, and Midwest Opera Theatre.Tickets are just $5 (plus a $2 handling fee). Children 12 and younger are free.
Proceeds from ticket sales and donations raise needed funding for Elgin charities. This year's beneficiary is Well Child Center, who will use the funds to purchase nutritious, age-appropriate and culturally culturally relevant foods for its Food for Families pantry that serves children and families in need.
No musical experience is necessary, so gather your friends and join in celebrating, singing, and giving on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, at 7 p.m., at Second Baptist Church of Elgin, 1280 Summit St., Elgin, IL.
