Members of Wardle Scout Group and Explorer Unit are so excited! We would like to invite Wardle village residents to join in with an Elf on-the-shelf Christmas Trail.
We'd like you to set up a pesky elf scene in your window for the young people of Wardle to find on a map and come to see.
The maps will be available to purchase from Wardle Scout HQ from 10am of Saturday 23rd November. The trail will be launched for anyone to follow from the 23rd November.
Residents who wish to take part can register their window at our webstore: https://wardle-scout-group.sumupstore.com/
Please register by Tuesday 5th November.
Your elf will be delivered to your house by close of play on Sunday 17th November for inclusion in your window display.
The £5 fee includes a free elf and you can order an extra elf for £3.50.
The Church Christmas Fair will take place from 11am-1pm. Santa will be there in his grotto and various stalls will be availabe inside the Church.
Wardle Scout group will be selling bacon butties and hotdogs from 10:30 am until 2:30pm and have soft archery and soft axe throwing activities available for those young people aged 4 years and over.
We hope that you will leave your Elf doing pesky things in your window throughout the rest of November and December so others can join in the trail at their convenience.
Ideas for Elf on-the-shelf antics can be found on the web - some are suggested here: https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/holidays/christmas-ideas/g3033/fun-elf-on-the-shelf-ideas/
Thank you, we do hope that you will enjoy joining us on the Elf on-the-shelf Christmas trail.
All funds raised will go towards sending young people on international adventures with Wardle Scout Group and Explorer Unit.
