About this Event
Broward County Elevator Safety program regulates over 11, 500 elevating devices, countywide and we issue permits for new installations and any alterations of existing devices. Regulating the safety for elevating devices are performed to Florida State Statutes and Rules through inspections and monitoring. We are mandated by the Elevator Safety Act, Florida Statute 399. This presentation will provide the requirements, responsibilities, and monitoring procedures for Property Owners and Property Managers of buildings with licensed Broward County elevating devices.
This event will be presented both virtually (via Microsoft Teams application) and in-person in our office (Hearing Room).
