We cordially invite you to join Elevated Foods' second workshop on regenerative farming practices and soil health, in collaboration with Understanding Ag. This workshop is tailored for current or prospective producers, service providers, and program partners involved in the USDA's Climate-Smart Commodities program.
The workshop delves into the foundational concepts of regenerative agricultural techniques and their profound impact on soil health. Attendees will gain practical strategies that aim to optimize profitability, fortify land resilience, and cultivate more nutritious food.
Our workshop will commence with a half-day session devoted to exploring the fundamentals of soil health. Lunch will be provided, offering an excellent opportunity for networking and engaging with fellow participants. Following the morning session, Understanding Ag trainers will lead participants through practical hands-on activities aimed at equipping your staff with the necessary tools to implement soil health techniques on your own farm. The commencement of the workshop will be presentation from service providers that offer climate-smart solutions and retailers looking to incorporate more regenerative products in their locations. We finish the day with opportunities to network in our vendor courtyard, where vendor tables with climate-smart solutions will be on display.
Additionally, for those currently enrolled in the Climate-Smart Commodities program, we have slots available for farm site visits in the days leading up to the workshop providing a unique opportunity to learn directly on your farm. If interested, please reach out today!
