Born in Colombia, she is the first gender bender/drag artist in her country to venture into the music scene as a DJ.
She was recognized as a breakthrough artist in 2019, with over 6 years of experience that has revolutionized the music industry by offering a unique performance characterized by infusing joyful sounds into every one of her sets.
Her stage presence and musical versatility have given her the opportunity to perform with some of Colombia’s most important brands, such as:
Theatron de PelÃcula, El Mozo Colombia, Industry Club, Lives Megaclub, Feel the Vibes, Pintoentertainment, among others. She also debuted as a special guest with a live performance for Miss Universe Colombia in 2021.
In her first year as a DJ, she was known by the name Marinela Simons, but in search of musical evolution and greater international projection, at the end of 2021, she decided to change her name to ALMA DJ.
With this name, she aims to be recognized and heard worldwide, thanks to her talent in mixing different genres, including Circuit, Tribal, Tech House, Afrohouse, House, and Progressive House.
