Elevate Networking & Sneaker Ball Giveback Event

This Elevate Networking Event will include food, drinks and dancing!
Benefiting the Kansas City, Mo based Gift of Sole foundation:
Unfortunately, parents facing financial hardship often can’t afford to buy their children a new pair of sneakers. The "Sneaker Ball" give back event is designed to help more kids in need get a free, new pair of sneakers. The term "Sneaker Ball" comes from the unique dress code for the event: attendees are often encouraged to wear business attire paired with sneakers instead of traditional dress shoes with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. More information on how to donate will be shared at the event.

“Best in Sneaker Style” Contest

Participants will compete in three categories that celebrate different aspects of sneaker fashion. Each category will be judged separately by your panel of three judges, with individual scores that combine for an overall score.

The categories are:

1. Best Sneaker Design - Judges will focus on the creativity, uniqueness, and flair of the sneakers themselves. This is for those who have custom designs, rare sneakers, or really bold choices.
2. Best Outfit Coordination - This category rewards those who know how to style their sneakers with their overall look. The judges will score on how well the sneakers complement the rest of the outfit, including creativity and fashion sense.
3. Best Sneaker Walk - This category focuses on how contestants show off their sneakers on the runway. Participants will strut down a designated walkway, and judges will assess their confidence, personality, and how well they highlight their sneakers’ features while walking.

Contest Structure:

Scoring: Each judge gives a score of 1-10 for each category.

Winners: You can have a winner for each category or an overall winner based on the total score.

Prizes: Block Stars

Criteria jor judging:

• Confidence: How confidently and smoothly do they carry themselves?

• Sneaker Showcase: Are they effectively showing off the sneakers’ style, design, and features?

• Creativity: Are they using fun poses, spins, or other moves that make the presentation stand out?
