King Jarrah Endurance Hike – Strength, Stamina & Scenic BeautyElevate and explore and take your hiking to the next level with the King Jarrah Endurance Hike—an 18km guided adventure designed to build strength, stamina, and resilience while immersing you in the natural beauty of Lane Poole Reserve, Dwellingup.
This challenging trail winds through the stunning Jarrah Forest, where towering trees and rugged terrain provide the perfect backdrop for an endurance-building experience. The first section features steep, rocky ascents that will test your power and determination. As you push through the climb, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views of the Murray River and the surrounding valley.
After the initial ascents, the trail transitions into a more forgiving 11km stretch, following an old 4×4 track alongside the Murray River. This section allows you to maintain a steady pace, focusing on stamina and endurance while soaking in the tranquil sounds of flowing water and abundant birdlife.
Tracing the historic timber industry routes, this hike not only challenges your physical endurance but also connects you to the past, where early pioneers relied on their own strength and perseverance to thrive. The 250-year-old King Jarrah Tree stands as a testament to endurance, resilience, and longevity—just like the hikers who take on this rewarding challenge.
If you’re looking for a hike that pushes your limits, builds endurance, and leaves you feeling accomplished, the King Jarrah Endurance Hike is the perfect adventure for you!
