Misha Freshin fell in love with Breakbeat and Soundsystem Culture when he entered the dance in Dublin nightclubs and experienced low decibel bass weight for the first time. Since then he has been seeking the very best in Drum & Bass, Jungle and 140. Having cut his teeth as a DJ in friends houses, at after parties and raves, he then co-founded Sól Fúd which lead him to playing in various clubs and festivals around the country.
Over the past 7 years Misha has played support to artist such as Congo Natty, The Ragga Twins, Dub FX, Roni Size, Bailey, Zero T, DLR, MC Gusto, Hydro, Chimpo, Djinn, Ill Truth, Kyrist, Bladerunner and Serum. He has brought his selections to the booth in various cities around the globe including London, Berlin, Prague, Rennes, Bristol, Freiburg, Leeds, Glasgow and San Francissco as well as appearing on DnB Radio live from New York.
He established inHabit Recordings in 2018 and the label has only been going from strength to strength. The back catalogue boasts a myriad of strong releases of various styles across three series; inHabit, Momentum and Texture. Since the restrictions lifted in Ireland and events came flooding back, the events side of things at inHabit has been picking up pace of late too as they host release launch parties, international guests and label takeovers.
Last year saw the label celebrating 5 years in the running with some nice plans for 2023 to mark the milestone. It's Misha's passion for music and connecting people that drives him to organise events, bringing people together to share in the dance as he continually pushes the sounds of Drum & Bass, Jungle and Soundsystem Culture.
