About this Event
Each spiritual tradition has its own set of wonders and intricacies.
In the Wiccan and Pagan traditions, one of the many wonders is the freedom of the practitioner to explore relationships with many different pantheons, many Divine Ones or Great Ones.
Each practitioner can chart their own course for relationships and connections with the divine. Some may find their alignment with a Goddess/God that is similar to themselves and shares their work in the world (e.g. a physician working with Asclepius or Sekhmet). Others may align with a Divine One that augments something they are striving to achieve (e.g. middle manager trying to get a promotion working with Jupiter or Odin).
In this session, we will explore a sampling of some of the more common pantheons referenced in Wiccan and Pagan circles and discuss ways to make and maintain connections.
Bring:
Please bring a journal, pen, something to stay hydrated with, and an open mind. If you work with a specific deity and have a representation of them (statue, artwork, carving, etc.) that you are comfortable sharing, you are welcome to bring it with you.
We provide light snacks to share. You are also welcome to bring something to share if you’d like. We also frequently bring our traveling shop of new and gently used items. Cash and PayPal are accepted.
Parking is available in the top and bottom lots next to the building, on a first come, first served basis.
We are sharing the space with other groups this year, and do not want to disturb their classes and events by entering on the left and walking through the big room to our location. Please enter the building on the far-right side, using the walking path around the front of the building, to avoid disturbing our neighbors.
