The simple, sacred act of preparing, serving and drinking tea gives the mind a single point of focus. Tea Ceremony is a sensorial experience hosted in a tranquil space, where you can find your awareness on the present moment. From noticing the sound of water boiling, the rising steam off the bowl, and the aroma of the brew, every mindful gesture is a gateway to the essence of tea, which is calm joy.
As a devotion, as a practice, we are reminded that our peace is not something to achieve or earn - it is something we rediscover sip by sip.
As the tea steeps, so do we. Our mind and body softens and settles.
And the quiet we’ve been seeking outside ourselves begins to bloom within.

Slow down and learn to 'be' with the elements in this 4-week course that allows the time and space to experience them intimately through your own presence. Ground with the Earth and into this season of quiet release. The medicine of tea speaks to us in a subtle frequency that is both intuitive and healing. Water gives life to the tea and teaches us to flow with our emotions; Fire alchemizes through heat and devotion, awakening fragrance and warmth; and the Metal spirit is the gold weaving our hearts together in the Tea Ceremony, refining and clarifying through every bowl, in a practice of quiet discernment and inner space.
