Rocks and minerals are much more than just bulky items that get forgotten in our pockets and accidentally run through the washing machine: they are fascinating keys to how the earth was formed. Through both staff and parent-led portions, this program will help participants learn about the information stored in the rocks and minerals around us. Please note that this program will have both staff-led and parent-led portions. Parents must stay with participants for the entirety of the program and be prepared to spend a significant amount of time outdoors. Advance registration is required.
