Old Time Toys! How did children play in the past? Join us in December as we explore the types of toys and games children played with when the country was being founded. Participants will learn about historic toys and games, have the opportunity to try their hand at a few of them, and then make a toy to take home.
“Elementary Explorers” is an interactive series of children’s programming that brings fun facts and activities out of the past!
The series, targeted at ages 5-9, will be held monthly. Each month will feature a different activity and craft inspired by local history.
A Parent/guardian must accompany their children.
This program is FREE thanks to a Power of Change grant from the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative.
THIS EVENT IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 15 CHILDREN. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
Participants may be photographed for use in museum promotional and marketing material.
