Jody Gilbertson has been doing energetic healing work for decades. Her journey has taken her from Reiki to Healing Touch, and now to Elemental Rhythm Breathwork. She is very happy to offer this transformational work to the world at this pivotal time, bringing healing, balance, clarity and renewed energy. As a certified Elemental Rhythm Breathwork Facilitator, Jody is excited to bring you an Elemental Rhythm Breathwork Experience. You will be guided through conscious breathing, varying the speed and the cadence. Jody's voice and curated music will guide you - from deep, balancing earth breaths to the cyclical flow of water breath, to the faster pace of air and fire breathing. Conscious breathing combined with breath holds has a profound effect on the nervous system and can affect physical, mental and emotional changes. There are many benefits - releasing stored emotion, increasing vitality, healing emotional and physical pain, sharpening focus and purpose, finding clarity and opening the heart.
Breathwork is not advised for persons with a history of cardiovascular disease including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant recent injury or surgery, or for pregnant women. Persons with asthma should have their inhaler present and consult with their treating physician.
Breathwork is done mostly lying down. For your comfort, it would be helpful to bring the following: yoga mat, blanket, head pillow and eye mask.
