Elektrokohle is a noise-post-punk trio from Berlin. Inspired from punk, noise, krautrock and dark surf, they define their music as "cold punk". Sparse bilingual vocals, motoric beats, screeching and reverberating guitars and a hypnotic synthesizer create an intoxicating mixture. The band is known for intense, chaotic and energetic live performances, deeply rooted in the raw, gritty Berlin underground sound. In November 2024, the band was struck by a great tragedy when Suzan Flag lost her life in a fatal accident. She was not only the bass player, but also a good friend and left a deep void in the band. Before the accident happened, the band had just finished their first album. After a break, the band released the LP "Kalt Wie Du Bist" on the prestigious Oráculo Records label, which also releases bands such as Boy Harsher and Ultra Sunn.Wohnbau, ein Quartett aus Mainz macht Musik und verbindet düsteren Postpunk und Elemente von Krautrock mit New Wave.
