You are warmly invited to the opening of our next exhibition:Ele’ele: A Resonant Call Home
Brought to you by:
ALESANA, Lealofitaute Vaai & Selu-Kian Lealiifano-Faletoese
Ele’ele: A Resonant Call Home is a photographic and audio-visual exhibition exploring the experiences of Samoan women navigating cancer. Through large-format portraits and a rich soundscape of personal reflections, traditional songs, and spoken word, the exhibition reveals strength, resilience, and cultural continuity. It highlights how ele’ele, the ancestral land, continues to guide healing and identity in an urban Aotearoa context. Made by Samoan creatives, the work celebrates heritage, community, and the enduring power of cultural traditions to offer solace and connection, even far from home.
Join us at 11am on Saturday, 22 November for the official opening of Ele’ele: A Resonant Call Home.
Please note: The exhibition will be open for viewing from 22 November, and runs through until 31st Janurary 2026.
Please see our Facebook events pages for some exciting public programs accompanying this exhibition.
