The primary purpose of this class is to help you understand the estimating and bidding process. We will explain how to determine material costs, labor costs, and the calculation of direct job costs, overhead, and profit to complete the bid. You will get a light review of some basic business principals so you can understand estimating. This class will meet on September 11, 2025 and September 18, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM for a total of eight classroom hours.

Requirements:
IEC contractor member or employee of an IEC contractor employee
Journeyworker certification or higher
This course is ideal for electricians who are currently in the field and interested in leveling up their skills for an office position such as project manager/estimator.
