Follow illuminated pathways to discover a magical menagerie of enormous iridescent creatures. Meet the menacing Tiger as he prowls the precinct, the mighty Falcon, the roly-poly Pandas, the towering giraffes and Tarutharu – the brightly coloured Kaurna Skink.
Find yourself in the spectacular Underwater Wonderland, where giant jellies bob above luminous fish and incandescent corals. You might even catch two naughty crabs cheekily scurrying through the crowds.
In a special commission for Joondalup Festival, a brand-new creature will be unleashed! Created in collaboration with Noongar artists Kambarni and Boox Kid, the Joondalup region’s endemic Snake-Necked Turtle – known as Yaakan, Booyi or Choonya in Noongar – is a never-before-seen art and sound installation set to make its debut in the Electric Kingdom.
This award-winning, jaw-dropping, public art extravaganza is brought to life by Melbourne production team A Blanck Canvas, whose illuminated artworks have wowed crowds at industry-leading events like Moomba, White Night, and World Expo.
