Collegiate solar car teams will be competing in the Electrek Formula Sun Grand Prix 2024, a 3-day endurance event on NCM Motorsports Park's road course track. See the solar cars complete laps and meet the teams that designed and built these innovative solar powered vehicles. Spectator admission is free!Daily schedule:

The track event also serves as a qualifier for the Electrek American Solar Challenge 2024, a road rally event where the solar cars will be traveling parts of several national historic trails (details to come).
This is a great event for anyone interested in STEM, experiential learning, solar power, innovation, car design, racing, collegiate design teams and more. The solar cars tend to inspire young and old alike!
